I have been using the Pocophone F1 for more than a month now and can confirm one thing, the battery life is absolutely amazing!

I am a heavy power user and easily get more than 5-6 hours of screen on time. On multiple occasions, the phone lasted me whole two days straight after a single complete charge. This shows it has good standby times as well. While Screen on-time can’t be considered a golden standard for measuring battery life, but a typical day filled with Browsing the web, social media apps, watching videos on Youtube and Prime Video, and navigating with Google maps, clicking photos and recording videos in 4K, all these together can’t kill the phone in a single day.

The phone comes with a 4000 mAh Battery and this number itself guarantees good battery life. But to add to it, the display is a 1080 HD LCD display unlike other phones with 2K displays, as the phone has to manage fewer pixels, we get better endurance. This can further be extended by disabling certain features like raise to wake, “Allow Face unlock when screen lights up” etc.

There’s a common misconception that GPS drains your battery faster. But I have my GPS and internet turned on all the time. And I am getting these impressive numbers in spite of all these settings.

Before getting this phone I always carried my charger and had this constant anxiety of phone dying off by evening. My power bank was my constant companion, I had to use it when travelling.

Now I just charge my phone first thing after I wake up in the morning, the quick charge 3.0 compatible charge that came in the box helps to quickly top up. And then I confidently leave the charger at home, knowing that even after heavy use I will have some juice left in the device till midnight.

And about the power bank, I don’t know that last time I needed it.
